Today marks 4 awesome years since I decided to bring Sundial into this world, which coincidentally happens to also be my birthday. Yes, I may have done that on purpose, but at the time did not realize the strong connection my personal growth had to the growth of my business.
As a matter of fact, the growth of Sundial has allowed me to "weed out" the people and things in my life that were keeping me down. My life has changed so much since 3 years ago, when I launched my first collection. I've learned so much more about my own strengths and weaknesses, and how to handle them. I've met so many people who have believed in me, and my designs. I've also discovered that some people were most definitely not in "my corner."
Without Sundial, I may not have made have never made these vital realizations or met some of these amazing new friends, and for that I will always be eternally grateful.
My advice to anyone looking to grow, is to take a leap of faith. It will be difficult. There is no such thing as being prepared. You will struggle. You will feel lost. However, the rewards from chances taken are greater than any other accomplishment. You have the sweat and tears to prove it. You learn how to trust your instincts. And you will most certainly never stop growing... challenge yourself to make tough decisions, and I promise you'll never regret it.
I've never felt so myself as I do right now.
